The R.M.S® Blood Administration Set is meticulously crafted to ensure safe and effective transfusion of blood and its components. Conforming to ISO 1135-4 standards, it features a sharp, non-vented spike suitable for blood bags and all standard blood containers. The set includes a cylindrical drip chamber with a 200-micron filter to prevent the passage of any blood clots, ensuring patient safety. A flash ball-type injection port allows for the administration of additional medication during transfusion. The 150 cm long, smooth, kink-resistant tubing is equipped with an efficient roller controller, facilitating accurate adjustment of the transfusion rate. Each set is sterile and individually packed, ensuring hygiene and safety. An alternative variant, the Ventrafix™, is a specially designed DEHP-free vented blood transfusion set, provided with a latex-free “Y” type silicone injection port with thumb support for easy handling.
